The Picture

Unpublished play “for clowns” by T.S. Ionesco: "It was with almost obvious immediacy that Pataphysicians saw in this work the most scientific and annulatory expression of the divergent-convergent simultaneities of pataphysical exaltation. Since Torma’s Euphorisms, they may not find a clearer one."

A Parade of Child Prodigies

Organized by Henri Bouché, PGAAVAQ, this Parade, bringing together historical, pseudo-historical or ahistoric cases, is "comparable to a garden hose pierced by wear and tear, from which leaks form numerous graceful jets of water, without the flow of Pataphysical Ontogeny being thereby reduced.”

* No 1, The Picture, and no 2, A Parade of Child Prodigies, each have their own title page and are individually numbered. Only the cover is common to both.

Immediately following this Dossier, but separately, the College republished, by popular demand, the famous Cahier 2 containing Jarry’s Commentary To Be Used For the Practical Construction of the Time Machine. Album of the Antlium

The Dragooness

The texts brought to light here by Maurice Saillet complete, correct, clarify, and sometimes upset the text of this book that Jarry did not have time to complete, and which was only published in 1943. They allow us to understand Jarry’s intentions, and how they fluctuated. Through these schematics, these various essays, these often curious notes, the story of Jarry’s last years, his struggle with misery and death, appears out of the background. Elegy of Farfa. Texts by Jean Ferry (on Tristan da Cunha), Dubuffet (Fair of Mirages) and Limbour (on Venice).

Geography and History of the College

It is evident that for the Pataphysicians that knowledge of the College itself can only be develop by pataphysical modes. The geography of Paris, France and the Planet, the History of the last twenty years reviewed in the light of Science, i.e. of the Administration of the College and its Statistical Archives. This Geographical File is completed by a major topological study by Jean Ferry: Proust and Science-Fiction. Two texts by François Laloux (including one on Marguerite Goy), articles by Latis on Apollinaire deflated, by P. Gayot on the Misfortunes of Sensibility, by Jacques Brunet on Swift, by Poult de Joye on the Counting of Kisses (a beautiful mathematical study).
